Hi, my name is Koel, and I'm a DP 1 student studying at MLSI. I've always kind of been interested in sciences and more specifically biology, it was my favourite subject all throughout MYP and now in DP! But I didn't want to become a doctor as it would take too much time, and it didn't feel worth it for me, instead I tried delving deeper in my interests and I realised bio isn't the only thing I like. I found my love for maths and I realised that I wanted to do something in both biology and maths. So I researched a lot and found the field of Biotechnology, researching about genomics, editing the code of life, changing biological compounds to create products, vaccines, medication and machinery just excited me a lot! So I decided on that for my major, and I hope I get into some good UK unis for biotech!
